Age: 33, born March 1976, and very much a "stereotypical" Pisces
Born in San Jose, Calif. Lived in Cali almost my entire life.
Family: One brother, one sister-in-law, one niece, one cat, one mom, and one stepdad. Not in that order, depending on the day.
Job: I work as a dispatcher for law enforcement. You know that voice you hear in the background on COPS? That's me. I almost always work graveyard shifts, unless I get forced to do otherwise.
Personality: Unexplainably attracted to people of creative and unique characteristics, who for some strange reason continue to put up with her. In serious need of an esteem upgrade, but is still saving up the money.

Able to leap tall buildings with a .. oh never mind, wrong bio. Obsessive, moody, loyal, caring, flirty, with a tendency to veer towards the dorky. Geek and proud of it. I have a lot of quirks and I know most people don't get it, but the people that do are the sorts work knowing.
Interests: Really, way too many to count. I've got a thing for sock monkeys. I collect vaseline glass, cobalt glass bottles, white tigers, dragons, cat figurines, Maleficently, pirate ANYTHING, wooden bowls, cups or knick knacks, silver, fantasy fiction books, comic book art sketches and odd hats. The odder, the better.

It's fairly obvious I am a 'Gamer Chick', as in I play RPG's, all sorts and types and platforms. I was obsessed with World of Warcraft. I played Warhammer Online. I love free form roleplay, as well as the White Wolf system. I've been a GM/Mod at many online gaming sites, most recently, Tazlure, where I was a Game Designer (the equivalent of an Admin) for almost three years. I'm currently involved in a couple of private storyline RP's and a few journal-based rpg's. My RPG character archive and development journal is at adozenpapercuts @ IJ.

I'm fairly creative, although I'm rarely satisfied with the end result of my hard work. I draw, paint, do pyrography, cross-stitch and dabble in way too many other crafty things- I'll try anything once, as long as I've got the time and the money. This is one part of my life I've neglected for too long and am trying to get back into.

I'm an avid reader. Some of my favorites include Feist, Bertin, Lackey/Dixon, Britain, Goodkind, Brooks (his older stuff). I've recently discovered Pratchett and Gaiman, so the library is getting sick of me. I also read sappy romance novels, (Yes, Harlequinn, or L.K. Hamilton) mostly because they are a guilty pleasure and take me only a few hours at most to read. And yes. I read Harry Potter. I LIKE Harry Potter. Its fun and silly and ... so there. Don't get me started on Twilight. I love to re-read my books, and my copy of Robin McKinley's Beauty is taped and dog-eared and re-taped again. I've got a personal boycott on R. Jordan and A. McCaffery. I doubt they'll notice.

The Tygress Inside:
The final question I guess is.... why Tygress? (or tigrez, tygs, tygger, etc.) Especially since I seem so much more obsessed with pirates or dragons at the moment. Well, for starters... I LOVE white tigers. I think they are some of the most beautiful and majestic creatures on this earth. If I HAD a totem animal, a spirit guide, I believe it would be in the form of this animal.

Secondly, in a strange way, I associate very closely with those stately, fierce creatures; I am a lethal predator when I need to be, especially when you mess with my friends; I am loyal and passionate to a fault (and I mean to a fault); with a sensuous soul, and a kinky sense of humor. I was most displeased that they were on the bad guys side in the Chronicles of Narnia movie, by the way! Now it's far too established to go around changing it, although I've been thinking about it.
